Food is wonderful. Service is great!. Love having access to booths. Nice to have available parking!!

Not bad at all! Was a bit skeptical at first since there were just a handful of people inside. The fried chicken wings were fried to perfection. I mostly liked the dry beef chow fun. So good and smoky! My brother likes the sweet & sour spareribs. It was a little too sweet for my taste. Not sure why there weren't more people in there, but they do have their own parking lot so that's a plus in my book! Not bad for American Chinese food.

There are no dim sum restaurants in Spokane. Since I was visiting Seattle, I went straight to Chinatown looking for a dim sum feast. I was attracted by Ocean Star's sign, reading: "Dim Sum for Lunch". I went inside to sample the bill o' fare. I ordered from a menu that included photos of the varied offerings. No dim sum carts here. Since I brought a couple plastic containers to cart a lot home, I ordered enough for four. The server looked askance at the size of the order, but soon dim sum was piling up on the table. My scheme was to eat one of everything I ordered and pack the rest up for the flight home. The dim sum was tasty and very generously sized. I ate my fill and packed the rest in my backpack. My wife and I enjoyed the dim sum for a couple days after. I am originally from Los Angeles and had enjoyed dim sum in Chinatown and across the San Gabriel Valley. It was nice to experience the "flavors of home" in Seattle. I was very glad I came.

Really good Chinese food and free parking! Came here early evening on a Sunday and the place was practically empty. Has a nice old school Chinese restaurant vibe. All of the food was really good. We went back for seconds on the bbq pork chow mein and the wings. Peking duck with the pinch buns was really good too. They also have a full bar which we appreciated. I'd say the only downside was the service wasn't great. Had to flag down our server for more rounds of drinks and water. She seemed distracted and didn't check on us much, even though we were literally 1 of 3 seated tables in the place. Overall, our group really enjoyed the meal. I'd like to come back for dim sum soon!
